On the 11 & 12 October 2025, we investigated the grounds of a fascinating historic site, including a 15th-century hall and a possible medieval mill.

Using geophysical survey equipment (that’s archaeology talk for ‘ground-penetrating science wizardry’), we worked alongside military personnel, veterans, and their families, as well as archaeologists from Bishop Grosseteste University, to explore the area’s rich history.
